Olallie Lake Rustic Resort LLC

Olallie Lake Resort and Scenic Area is located in the Mt. Hood National Forest, Oregon, USA.  The elevation is at approximately 5000 feet.

*Please check the welcome page for the latest road information. As the closure due to the Lionshead fire is lefted it will be posted there. As of 7/23/22, the only road in is 26 to 42.

The best route from the Portland area is east on HWY 224 from 1-205 through Estacada and past Ripplebrook Ranger Station onto Forest Hwy 46. Go approximately 25 miles; you will want to watch your odometer as the turn off to FSR (Forest Service Road) 4690 is easy to miss.  There will be Olallie painted on the road, once on Road 4690 the road is winding - follow the signs 13 miles to the Lake.   

The best route from the Salem area is through Detroit to Forest Highway 46.  Turn left just as you pass over the bridge into Detroit.  Follow Highway 46 for approximately 25 miles.  It is best to watch your odometer as the turn off road to Olallie is easy to miss. At approximately 25 miles turn right onto FSR 4690 (there will be Olallie  painted on the road) and  the road is winding - follow the signs 13 miles to the Lake. 

From Highway 26 turn on to Skyline Road  FSR 42, which is approximately 12 miles south of Government Camp and follow the signs 35 miles to the Lake.  The gravel part of this road has been graveled recently and no longer requires high clearence.
